  • Listen with empathy: Reflect back others’ feelings and needs to build understanding instead of arguing or fixing.
  • Take responsibility for your reactions: Recognize that your feelings arise from your needs, not from others’ behavior alone.
  • Aim for mutual care, not winning: Seek solutions that respect everyone’s needs, even in conflict.
