Discover Coaching Tiger’s story

Coaching Tiger began with a turning point.

During IMD’s Program for Executive Development, I worked with an executive coach for the first time. I didn’t expect it to be such a powerful experience—but it shifted how I saw leadership, performance, and what’s possible when you have the right kind of support. It sparked something in me.

Looking back, I know I would have benefited from coaching much earlier in my career—especially during the moments when I was pushing hard, carrying a lot, and trying to figure things out alone. That realisation stayed with me. And eventually in 2011, it became a decision: to follow this passion, leave the corporate world, and build Coaching Tiger.

Today, I have the privilege of coaching executives from around the world—across industries, cultures, and contexts. Some are navigating complexity at scale. Others are stepping into bigger roles, leading through uncertainty, managing pressure, or rebuilding clarity and confidence when the stakes are high. Each situation is different, but the aim is the same: helping leaders think clearly, lead well, and stay human.

From 1:1 Coaching to Leadership programs

Coaching Tiger started with executive coaching, one leader at a time. Over time, I wanted to extend that impact—so I began designing and delivering leadership programs for teams and organisations.

Our approach is practical, human, and experiential. We don’t do passive learning. We create sessions where people practice real conversations, experiment with tools, and leave with language and habits they can use immediately.

Partners we’re proud to bring to Singapore

Along the way, I found organisations whose work I genuinely admire—tools and methodologies that elevate learning beyond slides and theory. Coaching Tiger became their Singapore partner, so our clients can access world-class approaches, delivered with care and context.

bikablo®
I realised I didn’t want to run every program through PowerPoint. I wanted leaders thinking visually—capturing ideas, simplifying complexity, and communicating with clarity. After plenty of persistence, Martin Haussmann agreed to expand bikablo trainings beyond Germany. We’re proud to bring bikablo to Singapore and help teams unlock visual thinking.

RSVP Design
RSVP’s tools show up in almost every program we run—because they work. Their learning experiences are thoughtfully designed, highly engaging, and practical. Graham Cook, Ann Alder, and Geoff Cox have come to Singapore to run programs with Coaching Tiger, and we love what their work makes possible in teams.

Anecdote
Business storytelling is one of the most underused leadership skills—and one of the most powerful. Anecdote has been teaching it for 20+ years, and Shawn Callahan and Mark Schenk are not only outstanding storytellers, they’re exceptional teachers. Their methods help leaders communicate in ways people remember—and act on.

All Lined Up

Coaching Tiger is built on experiential learning—so the tools we use matter. In 2015, I started All Lined Up, our online store, to make it easier for facilitators, coaches, and leaders in Singapore to access high-quality visual facilitation products.

I began by sourcing the basics I trusted most—Neuland markers, sticky notes, and paper—the kind of materials that make workshops smoother and ideas easier to see. As our work evolved, the store evolved too. We added RSVP Design’s experiential activities (which we use widely in our programs), The School of Life cards for deeper dialogue, and Visual Explorer® packs from the Center for Creative Leadership, helping teams unlock insight, connection, and better conversations.

Mindfulness Unravelled

As Coaching Tiger evolved, so did the tools I brought into my work. When I discovered mindfulness, it gave language and structure to something I’d long noticed in leaders: the real challenge isn’t only strategy—it’s state. How you show up when things are uncertain, emotional, or high-stakes.

In 2016, I partnered with textile designer Myriam Combier to create Mindfulness Unravelled — Colour your way to a better you. The idea was simple: make mindfulness accessible, practical, and tactile—grounded in the qualities many of my clients were trying to develop:

  • Beginner’s Mind — the capacity to meet life with a fresh and open perspective
  • Non-judging — the ability to think with greater balance and breadth
  • Letting go — creating clarity and focus by reducing mental distraction
  • Acceptance — the wisdom to see “what is” and adapt to change with agility
  • Patience — the capacity to be with life’s ups and downs with calm and clarity

It was a wonderful creative experience. Myriam’s textile design expertise helped us create a textured, detailed visual world for each of the five qualities—so the learning could be felt, not just understood.

What we believe

Coaching Tiger exists to help leaders build real capability—confidence, presence, influence, clarity, and the ability to create strong relationships in demanding environments. Because performance matters. But so does how you get there.

If you’re looking for coaching or a program that’s rigorous, human, and designed to create real change—welcome.
